Developed by Donald E. Knuth and Leslie Lamport in the early 1980s, LaTeX has proven itself as the de facto standard for scientific publications until now. It is also the most powerful document creation tool known to mankind. So, as a student of computer science, you should learn LaTeX not only to honor history, but because it provides and teaches many interesting approaches that can be used in many fields. In the seminar, we will teach the most important commands and concepts that are needed for a convenient start with LaTeX. We will meet as usual in room K206.
